I definitely
prefer the newer streamlined cars like the one on the far right.

No chance of finding this one, despite the fact Capitol Ave is less than a mile long (though it was probably longer once). Downtown Omaha is totally transformed, and I can’t even see those larger brick buildings in the background. T here are some surviving brick warehouse buildings on the e ast side, but pretty much everything is new office buildings, hotels, convention center, parking, parks, or highway.

I imagine that you found some large suitcase full of old photos and have been scanning and sharing them one at a time. Every morning begins with a quick glance through the pile while you drink your coffee.

Did you see my Good Night post last night?

That’s a nice thought, but Shorpy has done all the work. Although I do spend a fair amount of time looking through that site, and others, to find these morning (and sometimes evening) photos.

Looks to be a 38 Ford “Deluxe” with the updated body (the standard body had a slightly more upright style).

Yep, but since you had tracked down the modern scene, not any work for me to do there.

What appears to be a Model A sedan delivery is unusual.

I’ll leave the detective work to on the next one. :D
